I definitely have shiny object syndrome when it comes to baking, and I have cupboards and boxes full of equipment, some that are used all the time and some are still waiting patiently for their turn. I guess it’s the same with everything in life really and when we moved house my brother-in-law did ask my why are the boxes labelled kitchen, kitchen phase one and kitchen phase two? To me, it was easy I’d unpack all of my favourites first and when the cupboards were full I’d move through the boxes in phases (hasten to say phase 2 are still unpacked 3 years on!)
When I started creating online zoom baking classes I carefully looked at what equipment could go into each baking kit and I didn’t want my classes to only be for people who had all the fancy gadgets, so it really made me think about what would I not be without that is reasonably priced when it comes to baking. Don’t get me wrong it took me ages to decide, and I changed my mind so many times but the download I created are definitely my must-haves for the baker in your life.
